Job details

£24,140.53 – £26,455.69 per annum

(NJC Grade 8 (Points 18-23) £29,269 – £32,076 pro rata, per annum).

Required as soon as possible. Fixed term contract until July 2026

Supporting the SENDCo, you will plan, prepare and deliver academic support for one student with complex needs, which include difficulties with working memory and retention. You will be working 1:1 with this student in lessons, including support with note taking, and also in pre- and over-learning.

With at least 2 years’ experience of working in schools supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, you should be able to engage with students in a positive and effective way. You will be expected to hold the Level 4 HLTA qualification, or be prepared to undertake it.
