GCSE progress better than ever!

We are delighted to have another set of outstanding results, and indeed to have hit new heights.

In the Department for Education’s performance tables published last week, we were confirmed as amongst the 10% of best performing schools in England, based on the progress that our students make, with a score of 0.73.

The Headteacher, Catharine Darnton, said:

“Over recent years, we have seen a marked and consistent improvement in results at Gillotts and we are delighted with this year’s results, which are the best ever, in terms of student progress.  These results confirm us as one of the consistently best performing schools in Oxfordshire.  This is a consequence of the commitment and hard work of the students and staff.  I am very proud of all that the students have achieved and would also like to recognise all the support that students have received from their families.  These results come about through successful collaboration between student, teachers and parents.”
